DEWALT® Lawn Mowers Recall

SAFETY RECALL NOTICE

Recall Notice | Ukraine         Recall Notice | Serbia

DEWALT® has identified a safety issue in respect of the following lawn mowers. Water intrusion into the control panel may cause an electrical short which may result in the inability to switch off the lawn mower and/or an unintended start if the operator should happen to push the start button, posing a potential laceration hazard. If you have an affected product listed below please immediately stop use.

The affected DEWALT® lawn mowers are those with the model numbers detailed below, and only those mowers manufactured in 2023 or 2024 prior to week 14. 2024 models manufactured in or after week 14 are not affected.

The model numbers can be found above the barcode on the packaging and on the grass flap of the product. The date codes can be found on the white sticker above the barcode on the packaging and on the mower casing near the left rear wheel of the product. If the packaging has a blue or purple dot sticker then it is not affected. The first two numbers in the date code represent the year and week. For example, the date code 2023 47 -58 -1 is for a unit manufactured in 2023 in week 47. Please see images below for the locations of the model number, date code and sticker (if applicable).
